Day 1 - Townsville to Sydney

4th January 2009 - 7.02am

Well as I write this we are on the plane to Brisbane and it is 7.02am. We have been up since 3.30am this morning, getting ready, packing up everything at the house and getting to the airport by 5am. Jordan is watching friends on the ipod, Em is reading New Moon, and Tristan has eaten everyone's yoghurt. We have a stop over of about an hour in Brisbane, and then we catch our flight to Sydney which is supposed to arrive at 11.45am. Kate and Andrew are picking up the Pyes, and we are going with Mum and Dad in a maxi taxi to the Overseas Passenger Terminal. We are hoping that it will nto take too long to go through customs and security. Apparently, the boat is docked between the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. That will be pretty spectacular anbd we are looking forward to experiencing that.

Now we are in Brisbane using our mini (which is AWESOME!) to post to this blog. Boarding our plane to Sydney in 25 minutes. The eating has begun - even though we had breakfast on the plane, we have eaten a Krispy Kreme each, and Tris and Em have had Hungry Jacks.... hmm. Prepare to see oompa loompa fatty boom bahs when we return.
