Off to a good start

Although we leave tomorrow, I feel that I've kicked off our holiday on the right foot (!) by getting a pedicure with Em. We now have lovely painted toesies and fingers. Jordan and I were up until about midnight last night packing, but still need to spend the rest of this afternoon packing all the final things. Because our flight is at 5.50am tomorrow morning, we want to be all packed and in bed early.

Have realised that perhaps our suitcases are not big enough. Because we are needing to pack such a diverse range of clothes, and the ship has no self-service laundry, we are bringing a LOT of things! Everything on board is in US dollars, and at USD$3.75 for a pair of pants to be laundered, that could cost a lot of if we have to wash too many things. We will both be taking suitcases and large-ish carry on cases so that should be enough (we hope!).

Gran and Grandad have very kindly offered to take us to the airport, so that will be lovely and will save us some money. (Thank you Gran and Grandad!!). Had better pack this laptop up too.... mustn't get distracted whilst there is still ironing and packing to do!
